Proboards, the hosting service I use for hosting ResinAntics forum is switching over all forums to a new version of their software. The process began on April 29th and is supposed to continue through May 29th. They have not announced a specific date when this particular forum will be converted.

When the changeover occurs, the banner section will not be active until I figure out the new way to implement it. The entire header and footer sections may look different as well. There shouldn't be any other major changes for you. However, if you encounter any that keep you from participating the ways you have already been participating, and/or can't get into the forum to message me about it, feel free to email me. I believe all members who have joined as of today already have my email address, so I'm not going to re-post it here, but do feel free to contact me that way.

Here's hoping the changeover will be smooth, seamless, and virtually invisible!

New Info about the Upgrade:

I noted today that although Proboards said all forums would be upgraded to the new version software by May 29th, that this forum is still utilizing the older version. When I checked the support board, they mentioned to other forum owners that the upgrades were taking longer than they anticipated.

We should still expect the upgrade to occur, but apparently don't have a target date anymore.

Remember: when the upgrade is completed, banner photos won't be available until I figure out the new system. Some users are having difficulty with that, so I can only promise to do my best and keep members informed. Hopefully it won't be long before I can add banner photos once again, after the conversion.

Resin Cafe, just went to the new format, also my Luvsdolls, and I HATE it.....you can no longer search members by alphabet.

Also, you can't put a decent signature link in your posts either. At least I can't figure out how to do it, along with a header pic. Maybe, I'm just stupid? LOL

I think a lot of people are having trouble with the the headers and footers in the new software. I really hope I can get the help I need to figure it out so we don't have to do without our banners for a long stretch of time.

I do like the shoutbox and the "like" button. You can chat more or less in the shoutbox....

I think I have figured out how to do the photo in the header, you have to go into "themes" "layout templates" "advanced", next page, click on "theme settings, up top", next page has a tab for "images", and should show you the last photo that was there...you can now also upload directly from your computer.

I hope it works. I haven't done it yet.....

I did change the photo, it worked....I can't get their photo out of there, however. LOL
