I have some thoughts on banner photos, but I'd like to get input and feedback from members as well.
Although I don't mind producing all of them, I would like everyone's dolls to have a chance to be showcased, provided their owners are willing to have their work occasionally displayed on the banner.
I won't be changing the banner every day - it will probably be more like once or twice a week.
As of now, my plan is to PM or email someone before using their photo(s) for a banner picture. That would give everyone the ability, on a case-by-case basis, to approve use of their photo or decline to have it used.
I want everyone to feel free to do what is individually best for your own photos - if you don't want a photo used on a banner, and I approach you to ask, please feel free to say "No, thanks." I won't mind! If you do give permission, however, please know that I would only in rare cases do anything to your original photo beyond re-sizing, adding the ResinAntics title text to it, and possibly a word or two of welcome. Because if your photo catches my eye enough to inspire me to feature it, I'm not going to tweak it further - it's already the best it can be.
So........... any questions? Ideas? Comments?
