When you read or participate on a thread, often you may want to be notified when there is further activity on that thread. This post explains how you can set up and receive notifications by email or private message (PM) of this kind of activity.
Click on “Profile” on the title bar beneath the banner.
In the “View Profile” box under the banner, click “Bookmarks.” (It should be the second clickable link after the words Member’s Bio)

This will bring up a list of threads that you have bookmarked. If you haven’t yet bookmarked any, don’t worry about it – you can still manage your bookmark notification settings.
On the Bookmarks Title Bar, click Manage Bookmarks on the far right. This will bring up options for managing your bookmarks.
To delete or remove a bookmark, check the box in front of it and then click Update Bookmarks and Preferences.
To receive notifications when a bookmark has been updated, choose the kind of update you would like to receive from the drop-down menu following the title of the thread. (Your choices are email notification, notification by PM, or no notification.)
You can also choose a default setting for notifications that will be applied to any thread that you bookmark.
After making changes to your options, click Update Bookmarks and Preferences and you will be returned to your list of bookmarks.
That's all there is to it! Now... don't forget to bookmark those favorite threads!
